I was at a Cruise Sat night. I am usually at one or another most weekends. I am normally the only Prowler to show up. Well to my surprise a Blue Mulholland pulls in. I ran up and introduced myself and spoke briefly with the driver. He asked how do we could get together. I asked if he was going to park and he said yes. I told come back and talk with me.
I waited and waited he didn't show. I went to see where he parked and he was nowhere to be found. On one other occassion at a cruise, a guy drove thru in a Black 2000. I waived and asked him to stop but he just kept going. What's up with these people.

Rich, I have had the same experience on the rare occassion when I have seen another Cat. I figure its their loss if they don't want to join in. I guess some folks are just "loners".

Maybe he became upset when he realized he was not the only game in town !

Unlike the non-conceded prowler owners such as we.......

Some people either don't have a computer, don't like "chat" groups (or hate groups as some turn out to be), or just enjoy riding and don't want to have to join something just cause they bought one.
I have a Harley, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche and am not a member of any of those groups. We also have a boat and a variety of other things that there are groups for and aren't a party to them either. I just don't have the time.

Alot of people also like to be silent and just read what others write without joining in and possibly getting flamed, or worse, getting threats.

You have a good point. I have alot of other toys and don't chat on other boards.

Rich - Don't give it another thought, as that has happened to me a dozen times here in Phoenix. I give them my phone # and email address, ask them to participate with our group, no fees or costs involved, and never hear from them again!

THEIR LOSS!!!

If you're gonna join the fun, everyone else will see who you are. Prowler owners, especially POA people, don't seem to mind being looked at.

I think a lot of people just don't want a group experience.. and in the case of Prowler's might like being "the only one".

Rich, while reading your thread a "little person" was on my lap and saw your "toon" and yelled, "Wow, race car with big tires" in a little person voice with a big smile and bright eyes. Remember the joy you just gave to an innocent little person the next time some Prowler or non-Prowler owner doesn't care to discuss cars, etc. ps. the guy was probably behind on his car payments-I've been wrong before!
