I went to the Route 66 car show in San Bernardino, Ca last night and I was surprised as to how many Prowlers that I saw. I saw two purple's and I belive 2 Blues and 1 Black and, I only saw about a third of the total cars! One of the Blues had the neon lights and it looked really sharp cruising the show. This show has about 2,500 cars and 500,000 people! The young sweet thing that I was with thought that the neon was really classy and, I have to admit, I was also impressed. It really looked sharp! The Prowlers were sure attracting a lot of people. It was hard to tell the colors as it was dark, the roofs were down and I could not see the rear bumpers to determine if they were Plymouths or Chryslers. Gotta run now, as I promised Al Bundy that I would meet with him and determine a plan for defense for the good old US of A. Bundy wants to consider gas warfare and I still remember the effects of that lone bean that I ate about two weeks ago. It's Sunday, time for my bran muffin and then I'm gonna pump some iron in the driveway. This always excites the local fresh ones and usually provides me with a partner to help me wax my Prowler and take a beach ride! Sometimes Gary comes over but he scares the fresh ones away with all that macho talk about speed and marriage. They think that he is too eligible and serious. That diesel race truck of his is now over 500 RHP and scares the hell out of them with the noise and cloud of smoke. At 115 years old, the sound is not too much for me as I don't hear very well, but the youngins get this really strange look on their faces when he fires it up. Last time, he also tried to eat my Hungry Man fresh frozen TV dinner that I had been saving for a special occasion. It was the Salisbury Steak Special and I think that it made a small appetizer for him. Scot ------------------ |

I don't think so. The Purple that I saw had a sticker that said it was a 99 and I didn't see flames. It was getting dark so it was hard to see colors or flames. The lights were pretty neat though. I never thought that I would be a neon light type of guy but they looked great. They were even and gave off a subtle look that was attractive. I guess you had to be there. Scot ------------------ |
