Well, I've heard many horror stories of various high end cars being joy ridden and sometimes wrecked. I've also heard the stories where the car comes back from dealer service with a scratch or dent that the dealer claims they did not do. Every time I take the Prowler in for service, I take my digital camera, take a few quick shots and take a shot of the mileage on the car. This way, I have proof of the mileage and that there was no damage. I recently had to leave the car with the dealer for 5 days to get my cracking fender repaired. So, I took out the video camera and recoreded the condition of the car. It may seem excessive I know, but I just don't want to have my own horror story to tell about. Happy to say that after 5 days in the shop, it came back perfect, with 0 miles put on it. Just wanted to give everyone a little piece of advice to keep themselves from having their own horror story. |

My car is away for a while and I was sure to do a walk around and a milage check with the person I left it with before I left. It only takes a minute and is cheap insurance that you mean business about the condition of your car. I've also made sure that the car was clean inside and out and that it was expected to come back this way. ------------------ |

Hey...anything you can do to protect your KAT is prudent. If you can stay and watch as they work, all the better. If you must leave your kat, I also recommend a good relationship with the service manager. Take him a "little something" to show your appreciation for the good care, be it money, or a prowler momento. Go out of your way to be nice, and they usually go out of there way to help you. |

some service managers are just out to screw people, Curt Fairbrother of Valencia Chrysler is a good example. I had a good experience yesterday at the dealership in Fillmore that Cliff sent me to, which is good!!! ------------------ |
