I would like to thank everyone for coming to the 2001 Make-A-Difference Woodward Dream Cruise. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves despite the spotty weather. The people at the Children's Hospital of Michigan - Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University were overwhelmed by the generosity of all the car owners. I am sorry we were short of volunteers for the days of the event, which prevented me from spending more time cruising with all of you. I hope all of you enjoyed the private parade for the Make-A-Difference Car Group on Saturday evening, which was escorted by the police officials for the city of Pontiac. We will be making an additional post thanking all of those who went out of their way to help Make-A-Difference. Again, thank you to everyone for coming and making this such a wonderful event!! Carol, By the end of Saturday night I'm sure you were exhausted. But like the energizer bunny, you kept on going Thank you and all the staff and volunteers that made the event a success. We had a great time and the weather was not bad. Yes it rained but it was after we had our cruise in Pontiac and we were settled back at Pikes. Carol... glad we could help the kids and have some fun being kids (again) ourselves. YOU really made a difference in making our return visit to Woodward so enjoyable... we will see you again next year.
