I met a new owner on his Harley last night at our Event and he mentioned he owned a club, the Hideout Inn the oldest bar in Clodine, Tx. It is near me and he said that they were having a Car Show today. I stopped out to give him the details on the POA and the website and our upcoming Sept Event. He wasn't there yet but as soon as I pulled up several people told me to park in the grassy area in back??? Ok, I get back there and there are cars and trucks lined up and I found a slot... Next to a 1931 Model A!! That car was awesome and the owner and his wife were super cool.. Finally the Club owner shows up in his Sparkle Orange Kat and procedes to tell me I'm in the show... Well he bought all my beers and the food was free, so why not stay!! The band was good and then they announced the winners and the 31 Model A won Best of Show and Kitty was second!!! They had not planned in their wildest dreams a Prowler would show up so the Trophy comes close, Best Dodge... Hell its a trophy and we won it!! The judges, they tell me, were all in their mid 20's...

Two young fellows showed up with their Ford Lightings... That is an awesome truck, factory Supercharged. They tell me their 370 HP! I had not even heard of them until tonight.. This was a great weekend, first the Event and now a trophy...

You may be right John, on where the HP is but one thing everyone noticed later is how weird they sound... One of the owners entered his in the "Best Sounding Exhaust, Trucks" catagory and one of the band members with a portable mike on stated, after hearing that Lighting, "Hey no remote controlled cars in this!" It didn't sound like anythign I've heard before, it has a whine just like one of those remote control cars the kids have... Strange....

Hey Jay, you know those Red shimmers add a nice view for those who have to stay behind!!

By the way, I have met three new owners and all three have the Orange Pearl Coat Prowlers. I always point out the shimmers on the bumper but I keep forgetting the radio, go figure.. I assume you have the Cracked Ice in the Orange by now?

Sorry, no Orange Cracked Ice, but I think this new Cotton Candy that will seen for the first time @ Woodward may be just the thing... I will let you know next week. If I ever can match the Orange, I will name it Orange Crush!!!

THANKS, Jay
