For me about 126 on a bridge where I knew no cops could be hiding. I tried to get it to 130(heard that is top end) but ran out of road. The car handled beutifully at that speed I think it could easily handle 140 or 150 imo. So what about ya'll have your gotten down with your kitty yet? If so, what speed? ------------------ |

125 with the top up. I was trying for 130 but there was a curve in the road coming up with a truck in the slow lane so I let off. It handled great! Must be the 2k1s handle better than those OLD kats! ------------------ |

June, 2000 - 108 on I-17. Coming up on Hot Rod Power Tour 2000 traffic, I backed off and didn't want to suck Larry Lord's door off going around him. Then, at 90 MPH he throws his hat off right in front of me. The rest is history! ------------------ |

Approx. 134 MPH with top up and going down a bridge. It wouldn't go any faster. At least the Canadians get to go faster. ------------------ |

125, then Dan passed me about a car length. Then we hit 130 and we both stayed the same distance. 115 at CH when Bob and the Paxton car drove up next to me with his bottle turned on. We both hit it and he drove away from me. Both were straight aways,, would never try to corner that car at that speed. ------------------ |

Had it up to 135 on the dyno in 3rd gear But an actual test is on the expressway i was racing (oops) i mean testing my car against a mustang and i hit about 120 and the car was handling great. The guys love how i can just slice thru traffic with ease... ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid |

90 all alone on curves on 14A N of Deadwood. New brown racing stripe on seat does not match upholstery. Decided speed is not the point. ------------------ |

As you all already know, I am 114 years old and for me any experience might be my last so I am always trying to push the envelope. I was on my way to the drug store to pick up some giant Depends and thought that I might goose it for once to see what it would really do. Anyway, it was about 3 AM and I had just finished a scintillating date with a 26 year old filly that was as hot as my manifold after a three mile high-speed run. I had left her in my Jacuzzi to keep her hot and I told her I was headed to the drug store to renew my Viagra prescription (not that I need it, but my dog loves it!). There was not a sole on the freeway so I went for it. At 114 MPH, also my age, I chickened out and decided not to push the beast any further as I wanted to live for another day, to love once more. A CHP officer passed me just about the time that I had decided to back off a bit and he just blew on by and was headed North to find Dan and meet his monthly ticket quota. He just waved and made some kind of motion with his fingers which I assume was the old thumbs up gesture. At my age I only have 120 / 20 vision in one eye and the other was tearing due the the extreme wind buffeting around my wallet. The car handled fine...I think, but it was hard to remember as at my age we sometimes have a habit of forgetting things. Anyway, I couldn't remember what I went to the drug store for so I did not pick up the Depends or the Viagra. Instead, the cashier picked me up and said something about how handsome I looked standing on my wallet. I am off to Woodward and I hope to see all of you there. I'll be with me new honey and I hope that you all like her. She is a natural blonde and very well educated so I am sure she will be a welcome addition to the crowd. Scot ------------------ |

Scot, very funny. You probably should drive like that AFTER you get the Depends. They might come in handy. |
