I am real close to getting a newer Prowler or Gen. II (97 or newer) Viper. Would like to get some feedback (let it rip!) on your likes and dislikes of the two vehicles. Thanks Muz This message has been edited by Quicksilver on 06-19-2001 at 10:41 AM |

If you already have a Prowler, I'd get a Viper for a stable mate. If you don't already have a Prowler, it's a tough choice, I love the looks of both. My Prowler Pros: My Viper Pros: If money were no object, get both. ------------------ |

Gee, Muz......that's a tough question. Also a very personal choice. The Prowler and the Viper are two totally different vehicles. Prowler was built to be a cruisin' car. It is definitely a people magnet and it is just plain fun. Personally, I think a Prowler draws more attention than a Viper...if that is what you want or don't want. I think everyone relates to the Prowler in one way or another. Viper is definitely a sports/racing car. Built for speed and looks, of course. Viper definitely has a certain niche and I think that limits its people appeal! Just my opinion....which we know ain't worth much these days!! ------------------ |

Scott - David stole my thunder! I was just coming back to add the gas tank options. You can buy a Prowler trailer, refit it to be a aux. gas tank, and have the best of both worlds MikeG is right - A Y WIFE |

My Wife won't go crusing, I don't have "boyfriends" to cruise with, the gas tanks to small on the Kat and I won't get a trailer, SMART *** ! Racings a solo deal and gas is never to far away! |

I have both (99 Prowler, and 93 Viper) and enjoy both at different times. CJ is correct the Prowler is the best cruisin car, The viper for the speed and sometimes to the mountains. I enjoy the style of both and as many people look at and give the thumbs up to one as the other. The Prowler will let you make more modifications to the body, add more extras, and cruise. Viper is the muscle. Booth in my book are different and beautiful. |

The answer is simple, if you want all out speed, get a Viper, if you prefer to cruise and be stared at, get a Prowler. ------------------ |

I have been considering a 2001 Yellow RT/10. I'm having a hard time deciding. I don't know if I want to go another $70K in debt. But hell, you only live once. ------------------ |

Tour Glides are for when you need to pack the house. Fat Boy's are for styling cruisin... Dyna's for style and nimbleness. ------------------ |
