Came home from work last night and on my dresser were two Racing Champions Mint "Fifty Fastest Muscle Cars" - issue #45 the '97 Prowler. I have never seen these before! My father-in-law picked them up yesterday at at a Target My sister-in-law is in her 9th month so they are doing a lot of walking and shopping! ------------------ |

Congrats, are they a good representation of a Prowler? Some are rather funky? |

Cliff, not to diminish your excitement or anything, because they are very cool, but.... I have picked up five of these in the last several months, one being last week in VA. I noticed, though, that every one of mine has that little sticker with #45 on it! If you look at it again, just under the nose of the car on the bottom is another sticker with a number on it. Now that number is different on all mine. I'm wondering if that must be the issue number?? What do you think? I can't find any other numbers. The 3180SS number on the bottom is also the same on all of them! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat! |

CJ - seeeeee - your lucky and you don't even know it! It is so difficult to find any collector stuff here in SoCal. There are so many collectors - it is insane. Regarding your question about the numbers. #45 is the Issue number - if you look on the back, you will see listed all the different cars and #45 is the Prowler. The number under the nose is the serial number (1-10,000). I think the other number is the stock number or something like that. Gary - they are kind of funky but not as bad as some I have seen. ------------------ |

Well, Cliff, thanks for clearing that up! I never bothered to read the list, really.... Maybe we should start a network....have a place to post what collectibles we are looking for and help each other out searching for them!! We could each put up a post listing what we want. It could be printed off to carry when searching? I found something in Virginia that I haven't posted yet, waiting to see if I am actually going to get it! If it works out, I may have a little "network" to help me out! What do you think? I'd be happy to look for others while I am looking for mine!! |

The under hood detail is better than most in this scale. ------------------ |
