Now, the BIG NEWS is the addition of an Events Calendar for use by all POA enthusiasts!! This will be a great asset to all of us, and it will be available from the Navigation Bar as well. All POA enthusiasts are welcome to submit events, though all events go through an approval process, so don't worry if your events doesn't show up right-away. The approval process is merely a step to verify accuracy, help with any coding problems, etc....so please plan accordingly and make sure we have at least a day (or two) to get through the approval process.

There are some required fields, like e-mail address and name...these are very important so if there are any questions we can expedite getting things posted on the calendar.

On your submission you will be able to enter a date, or a range of dates, for an event...as well as a time. You CAN enter HTML code if you like...but you MUST know the proper tags to make links show up. Unfortunately, it is not quite like UBB, and one must know how to enter html. The good thing is that if you need help, just ask!! A good example is this:
www.prowleronline.com shows up as a link you can click on, and I didn't type anything EXCEPT those 21 characters. The code to make it "clickable" was inserted by the board. On the calendar this won't work. So if you want there to be a link to a particular website, or you want BOLD, ITALIC, etc...just submit your event and then send us a note and we'll do what we can. There are plans to add a little pop-up help window with frequently used HTML code, and the proper syntax, so look for that soon!

There are many other features to the Calendar. In it's current configuration you are shown a monthly calendar and there are events listed for the days. You can click on the event and an info-window will open up and give you all the details. If you prefer to look at a "Year-View" or "Week-View", you can change all of that to suit your needs. Please take some time to investigate all the options available.

Keep up the good work. I can't believe you can come up with anything to improve this site anymore, but judging by past experiences, I am sure that I will be wrong.
