Hey now prowlful, you know of someone with a prowler that has ran the quarter in less than 12.116???? If so, let me know. While this is my best time to date, wait till I get back to the dragstrip and go way into the 11's............as for the mods, I started with the Real Rod Duel Exhaust System. Then added the Paxton supercharger and the Prowler Pro Gears then the NX N20 Kit, followed by the addition of the propane to solve the fuel delivery problem I was having, removed the cats and I run the Iridium plugs. These are the external upgrades to the motor that came in the car. My second motor is on the stand waiting for all the parts to come in. I'm hoping to get into the 10's with this one but the prowlers computer is gonna need hacking. You need to get your cat running fast and try to take this lonely title from me.................I've had it too long and I am dissaponted that others are not out there trying to beat it. Mike K. has the second fastest time with a 12.15 which he was .05 of a second faster than me that day in TX. The following week I returned to the same drag strip and ran the 12.116 but smoked one of the clutch packs in the tranny. I don't think it was from drag racing. Now I have installed the upgrade from paxton. I put the stock gears back in and took it back to the track to see what it could do with stock gears. Best time was 12.3 something........So now I have the PP Gears back in and am waiting to get a chance to run.................Its been over 2 months scence I have had a night that didn't rain in florida. When I get back in two weeks, I will run that 11 something and beat my own record...............until then, I sure hope others are trying to snach the record from me...............Its just not as much fun if your only trying to beat your own record..........  ------------------ |

fmitb, wow, is there anything else that you can possibly do that car? i know you must be disappointed to be in a class by yourself. when i brought mine, i really didn't anticipate on it being a racing type of car. i guess b/c it looks so fragile in the front. i personnally cared only about the looks. many people, however, expect more b/c of its resemblance to a hotrod. so, when exactly are you planning on running it again. also, can you update me on the events coming up. i've never attended one before. thanks. ------------------ |

Hey now JD.............I hear youyou got to get to a track and show us some numbers............I run or should say, try to run in Gainesville FL and outside of Orlando in Bithlo. A little to far for you to come I sure. Its just my opnion but to me the prowler should only be a race car..............cause it looks like one. We all just got ripped off with the 6. But for a 6, if you add some mods, it runs pretty good. I mean, how many 12 sec street cars have a 6 ??? not too many. I'm building a second V6 hoping to get into the 10's. After this, I got the Keith Black 580 cu.in. all aluminum big block with big cheif heads that I'm gonna put in a cert. chasses framed prowler..............say I aint.............. ------------------ |

Hey now Laddie, I've had the block for about a week now, got it back after haveing it magnafluxed. Its in great shape. Big Cheif heads will be ready in about 2 to 3 weeks. I also have a Keith Black forged crank, a real rare item. Its never been used, only had to get it polished. The chassie will take some time but its on my side............ ------------------ |
