Hello everyone! This is my first posting to any message board. I have been reading your postings and I hope you will be able to answer a question for me. I brought home my black Prowler 1 mth 3 weeks ago and I have washed her 14 times and waxed 3 times. My concern is that the soft top is not allowing water to bead up anymore. Is there something I should use to treat my top to keep it healthy? any help would be great! take care tsf... |

Yes, that is it. Your top was made in Germany by Haartz, a world leader in soft tops. I use Mothers convertible top cleaner, it foams nice with a very soft bruch,(new horse hair shoe brush works super), rinse a lot, and I mean a lot, and let it try overnight. Say 24 hours in moderate humidly. Vacuum and then use 303. Caution, your top must be 100% dry. so maybe wait another day. Cover all areas for overspray, and use 3 med-light coats 20 minutes apart. water beads like crazy and it stops UV ray deterioration too.
