My friend just sold his 2000 Silver Prowler at the auction today, (Orlando, FL area). It only had 2000 miles on it.

This was the one I posted on the board a few weeks ago, so someone might get a "like-new" cat, at great price. He really wanted $38K, but since no one called him, he took it to the auction today.

It's sad, they started bidding at $32K, and it looked like no one was going to even bid!! Finally got it up to $35,900, he sold it, just wanted to rid of the payments, I guess. Shocking to me that he had to sweat it out to get $35,900.

I guess some people just don't see the "Magic" of the prowler...glad for that too, keeps them special to a select group of us.

Larry, just doesn't drive the prowler since he got the Viper, BMW 740iL, and the Lexus SC430 convertible. He had too many payments and wanted to get rid of his oldest car....the 2000 prowler. Larry decided he wanted it gone, so he had a friend drive it to the auction. He owed $36K, he got $36K, so he was happy.

Another note:
Strange......I had some "Hot Rod" buddies to the house to tweak my 1950 Ford Truck, they noticed the prowler in the garage, but never even went in the garage to see it. Goes to prove only a few select people really see the "magic" of the prowler.
