Like some others, my right rear fender is cracked. But, the crack is on the lip of the fender, right above the middle part of the tire. Well, the zone rep. said that she wants to repair, not replace, the fender. I think I'd rather have the fender replaced. I know I posted this topic a while back, but now that the zone rep. has made her decision, what do you think I should do? I'll try to post a pic sometime this weekend if I can figure out my new digital camera.

Thanks

Too bad your rep does'nt know a lot about the material of the cat. Mine was cracked, by the taillight. They were adamant they could fix it. They did, within 30 days it came back. They agreed to replace it. If you have to get it repaired, keep a good eye on it.

I have owned a body shop for over 30 years and from my experience, any repairs to the plastic fenders involving stress cracks would be VERY temporary at best.
