I am still waiting for Paxton to get their prowler back so I can test drive it - for those that have driven it - what was your impression of: 1. Improved response off the line ------------------ |

I drove the Paxton cat in Texas during our TSW event. With all the latest mods they have put on that CAT, it hauls some serious butty. They still had to tweak the nitrous a little to get all that extra torque applied to the street correctly. I think you will enjoy the kick!! Later... ------------------ |

Hey now, I like the paxton but the N20 can really be felt much more than the paxton. Like the gears, you can really feel the kick. The paxton left me wanting more....... ------------------ |

Cliff, As you know, Paxton loaned me their cat for the Grand Canyon event. I drove it 835 miles and was more than pleased that under all conditions. Paxton has since significantly increased the power output. When I drove it, it got at least as good a gas mileage as the other cats on the trip. We often took less fuel than the other cars. The power improvement was most noticeable in the mid to upper rpm ranges. The power was very linear and it was very pleasurable. Simply stepping on the gas and passing a string of truck on long, uphill sections of the interstate, evoked my comment of "bye-bye!" I drove the car under a multitude of conditions from warm, low-altitude Las Vegas to snow in the hills of Arizona. The car performed flawlessly. ------------------ |

If you have the gears, the car will do a lot better. With the gears the power comes in way sooner. 3000 rpm and above power. Gas mileage clueless, I have the upgraded kit. If I need gas I pull over and fill up. ------------------ |

I hear a rumor that the Paxton intercooler drops the intake charge over 100 degrees, hmmmmm, Maybe the Cummins would appreciate some cooler air. 30 degrees is good but a 100 is way huge, more power baby. ------------------ |
