All DFW POA Members, Springtown Tx, is having its Wild West Festival on Sept,15th (Sat). There is a parade that kicks off the event and We've been invited to Prowl. Last year I lead the parade, with the mayor riding with me and it was great. I am inviting all to attend the festivities and join me in the parade. We can meet at Texas Motor Speedway Sat morning around 7:30 and cruise to Sprintown to stage.(About 30 minutes west) The parade stages at 8:30-9:00 and begins at 10:00. There are always classic cars,antiques and the likes. And yes the cars get to go before the horses!!! It is an all day event for those wanting to stay around after the parade. They have BBQ cookoffs, arts and crafts..etc... It is a small town, the parade is pretty short, but if we can get a bunch of prowlers together it would be something this town has never seen. Please let me know if you can attend, I'm trying to arrange for parking our Kats after the parade. Brian ------------------ |

Brian- As you probably noticed, DavidN & I have committed to Fred's festival and parade in Columbus, Tx. We will be cruising all of central Texas the entire weekend. I thought we would get several prowlers and cruise down there! What do you think? ------------------ |

Paul and Tmax, sorry to here you can't make it, I know it's kinda short notice, but I just recieved the invite on Monday. If you talk to any other members from DFW please point them to this thread. As you can tell I Haven't recieved much response. I can't make the trip to central tx, as I have other plans for the remainder of the weekend.I hope you guy's have have a safe and happy trip.
