Last night at the weekly Friday night cruise in in Indianapolis we had five Prowlers 2 Black Cats from New Castle Indiana (ED W. & friend) 1 Red from Richmond Indiana (Phil) 1 Red from Cinninatti, OH (Ed & Sandy) 1 Yellow, purple, blue, orange, white, maroon ~~ OH that's mine It was great to finally meet Ed and Sandy, Thanks for making the long drive to visit with US We need to make one Friday or Saturday night this summer a Cat night in Indy let me know who would be interested. ------------------

I'm game. If the Saturday night cruise-in builds into anything,that may prove to be better night to get some Cats from further out to come in. Perhaps we could work out late afternoon meal and then the cruise in. ------------------ |

I can vouch for the cruise in. They had extemely nice cars there last night, a little bit of everything, much nicer than any of the cruise ins in Cincinnati. I highly recommend it. Let's pick a night in late May to go. That gives us a few weeks to plan which night and the weather should be pretty stable by then. Ken, Andy, Richard are you guys in? It takes about 1 hr and a half to get there. It is the exit before the Indianapolis circle freeway so you never get into much traffic. Larry, it was a pleasure to meet Sue and you. Your car is much prettier in person than the photos show. It was good seeing Phil again. He complimented me by saying I had almost as much BS as Big Foot Salzman. I was really flattered. By the way, we stopped in Greensburg at Wal-Mart and I got another Johnny Lightning car. I will check on your clothing articles Monday and let you know. Thanks for showing us a good time. I think Larry must be the mayor or some upper official, as everyone there knew him and came by to talk to him. Ohio people remember there is an hour time difference so you don't show up at 4 PM, DUHHH |

Who would be up to it on May 12th. I was thinking about lunch at Richard (it will not let me use D*ck) Clarks and then drive around lake on way to cruise in. I will see about getting parking set up so all the cars can be together. ------------------

The 12th is real good for me also...might not make the 19th...will get as many local Kats to go as possible...I think there are 7 Kats in New Castle now.....19th might run into hotel problems due to activities for the INDY 500 for anyone coming in from far away... ------------------ |

For most, a Saturday seems to be the best day. I go to the friday night cruise in a Sams club and the Saturday night at Washington Sq. shopping mall. Those that want to come over any weekend are welcome and will see a wide aray of cars. Ed you drove right past it, 1/2 mile west of Sams on the north side of the road, it is in the North west corner of the shopping center. I will post in events later this week with some tenitive plans. This will be qualifing weekend for the Indy 500 IRL race, So those that want to stay overnight please let me know so I can check with local hotels. ------------------

What time does it start, Larry? By the way, I ordered your XXL shirt today. Phil, those jackets do not come in Long sizes. There are some others, I will bring the catalog on the 12th. We will not be staying over night. We will figure out where and what time to meet when we find out the starting time. Indy is one hour behind us. I know a great shortcut over some nice country roads the last 10 miles or so. |
