I spoke with a transporter who has handled Prowlers. He said he just received an "AD" from DC a few weeks ago. In short it says to use hooks (and not the D rings?) or something like that. I don't have details and am not in the know. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I can clarify for anyone wishing to transport their Cat. DC said it had too many instances with the D ring tie downs coming loose. Thats the reason for the "AD". (ps: in my line of work an AD stands for airworthiness directive issued by the FAA-didnt know they had a term called AD in the auto business-what does it stand for in the auto sector?)
