For what it's worth, when you're only doing test-n-tunes, reaction times and red lights don't really matter. Your ET won't be any different if you leave 2 tenths too soon or 3 minutes after the light turns green. So, everyone gets to take advantage of these practice runs and concentrate on getting their best times. Now, if you're a serious racer, you can take the opportunity to practice cutting better lights and shoot for that .501 reaction time. As for me, I'm happy with a cold beer in my hand while watching you guys running your 12's (soon to be 11's). JP and I (the 2 poor military guys) managed to pull an almost-wheelstanding 14.91 in our stockers. We probably could've squeezed off another tenth or two, but it was too dangerous running without wheelie-bars. We were afraid to run any faster because we all know how hard it is to steer with your front tires 2-3" off the ground |
