Sanders Hot Fudge and primerib dinner - the PERFECT combo meal. When I start to eat at the soup kitchens and charity dining rooms, I guess my taste buds will change somewhat ------------------

Starflame - here is the blue cat you wanted. You need to buy soon, as your closet can't handle many more t-shirts. You can put them in cat trunk, for easy access. |

Overstocked?? I wonder if sales of the more expensive cars are slowing in general...? At the '01 Chicago Boat Show runabouts/ski boats priced above $25M declined vs.'00 and '99. Yet the quantity of lower priced entry level boats increased from previous years. I wonder if the economy slowing and NASDAQ decline has people spooked and therefore not spending their money on a somewhat expensive car notwithstanding it is the sharpest car on the market ie. Prowler. Railroad loadings of autos is down 20% year-on-year thru 2/3/01. Greenspan checks this report as a measure of economic activity. I'd like to check the number of expensive cars that are leased vs. purchased too. Gross sales are misleading as a measure of consumer confidence. ------------------ This message has been edited by NightProwler on 02-26-2001 at 05:00 PM |

Valley Cat, what was the lease term in months and anything down/up-front payment/first and last payment in advance/ 2,000 miles a year/you must live with scorpions, etc.? We can figure out the finance company's residual. Prowler owners might be interested in this. Whats the dealership's phone number? ------------------ |

NP - I didn't pay much attention to that part, but you can go to www.nobull.com and go to their C/P/J dealership, and I'm sure you can get that info there.

Dealer requires $5,000 down (non-refundable) on a 48 month lease @ $499 a month in advance. Assuming $45,000 sticker less $5,000 down = $40,000 capitalized cost. You pay for sales tax, license, etc. out of your own pocket. This means the residual (not fair market value of the Prowler) is assumed to be $24,000 to $25,500 in 4 years. In my financial tool box I have a lease pricing model and included 3 year MACRS tax depreciation benefits. The residual information is good information to know if you own a Prowler. btw, they dont have any Prowlers to lease as the salesman told me they sold them all. ------------------ This message has been edited by NightProwler on 03-01-2001 at 03:16 PM |
