Having my cat picked up on Monday to have the new paint job started. The cat will be two-toned like the Woodward and Black tie. Going with a GM color called Opal Blue Metallic.(Going on a Silver cat) Having the trailer done as well. Pin striping will follow with a few accents on the dash panel. Then it will be going to the audio shop for an upgrade on the head unit. Settled on the Kenwood KTV-910DVD. Has a built in DVD player, TV tuner, and of course radio. I'm sure I'll be watching alot of movies on it. As anything we do to these cars, wanted it mainly for car shows to show off. Might be nice though for the next trip to Woodward. The wife can watch a movie on the way and I won't have to hear "how much longer till we get there" every fifteen minutes. Since adding this new head unit rendered my factory CD changer usless I upgraded to a 10 disk CD changer. All this happiness is really more than I should spend but what the hell. Also got my chromed radiator support in along with the four support arms. Can't wait for spring. We'll will be ready to do some crusin. Just needed to vent (brag) a little. Everyone else is having all these cool modifications done. Just wanted to join the fun. If you guys are interested, and with some help from someone (anyone) I will post some pictures when I get it back. ------------------ |

We have the capibilities to do it right on this board, very easy. You have to be in the post a reply or thread area first, look for a paper clip that is left of the question mark and click on it and follow instructions. ------------------ |

Bob, Need to let audio shop know you want your wife to watch while driving. Everyone I know that has TV as you decribed has to have in park and parking brake on for it to work, unless it is on trailer and you make your wife ride in Cat this would not work to well. ------------------ |

with the in dash systems you can have them clip or loop the wire for the park sensor back to and voila you can watch and drive, don't know how safe that is but ...its your car.. ------------------ |

Lance is right. It is not safe that is why the park brake is to be on for it to work. Coming back from Florida, driving 38' motorhome with tracking satilite watching BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE was distracting but it is for the passingers RIGHT wink wink Hey, how about a tracking satilite mounted to the top of a trailer and then she can watch all her favorite shows anywhere, anytime hehehe ------------------ |

I've got last year's Kenwood TV model, but the cheap little wires, that are supposed to be the antennas, do not work well. I have one running up front, and one running in the back. Let us know how your reception is, I think DavidN would have a huge insite on this. I usually run my VD1 input from my VCR. ------------------ |

Better late than never. Finally got started on the paint but changed my mind on the color. Went with the new Prowler Midnight Blue. Looks awsome! They started on the trailer lid first. Will post pics soon. Here's the question. Does anyone have a connection to get parts CHEAP? Since I now have went with the Prowler blue I am considering changing the top to the new blue as well. Called my local dealer and as usual had no clue. No info on the new blue top but the black top retails for $3,300. OUCH!!! Anyone have a line on where I might find this for a little closer to $2,000. I don't want to dye the original, I want a new blue top. Thanks in advance. ------------------ |

Bob, checked on the p/n this morning. Did not find p/n for blue. But the black complete top as you said has list price of $3,300 cost around $2,500. So, good shopping... ------------------ |

Thanks all, I think Joe and I have worked something out. Only problem is availability of a blue top. If anyone can get a part number for a BLUE top please let us know. More importantly, if anyone knows where we can get one even better. Thanks again. ------------------ |
