I'm about to purchase a new Jeep under the FRIENDS program offered by DC and posted by CJ. Has anyone used this program and what was the aprox savings from the window sticker? I also have 8 months lease payments totaling $1900 left on my present Jeep. The loan is not associated with DC. What would be the best way to turn the car in early and what should I expect the dealer to do as far as early lease termination. The new car will be a purchase, not a lease. In plain english, how do I keep from getting BURNED? Go to www.kbb.com and they have the invoice listed for all cars and trucks. Then do some math and take another 2% off and make sure to check and see if there is a price incentive on your vehicle. On My truck there was an additional 1000 bucks off. Not every dealer I talked to wanted to do the Friends Cert.. ------------------ |

www.meltonsales.com check out this site they post 175 below invoice so you will have a close number as well Al and check they are one of my small competitors I would say my site but we don't sell jeep yet soon though ------------------ |

Yuk Yuk Lance Yeah, I know what your thinking Lance, I'm still gonna get bent over. There is so much going on with car sales that unless you're on the inside, there's no way the consumer will know all the angles. I feel raped after I get a new car, but this may just be my paranoia, and it's usually soothed by the smell of new leather and the newness of the car.------------------ |

the friends program is very simple and straight forward (if they are a dealer that wants to participate. www.meltonsales.com call them i'm sure they can drop ship one for you and it will be easy I asure you. seriously check out meltonsales they strip everything out of it (no profit) besides holdback and they even give some of that away. As a competeing dealer we don't like them.
