Hey now, the only problem I see is with the end open, your going to suck up dirt and debris. Not what I want in my motor................ |

Personally, I will stick to my Mac Motor Sports intake, same basic idea, but without the chance of water getting into the intake, you never know when your going to hit a puddle, even on a dry day! ------------------ |

I will be installing this system on my Prowler. I will take pictures and tell everyone what I think. What I looked at so far is pretty good. But, I will give you all a honest opinion. Frank (CHINO) PS: Also, be doing a before and after test with my G-Tech. |

Too bad no comparison with the MAC system. ------------------ |

We have started developing some replacement body side panels with louvers or air intakes and also deleting the side marker light for a cleaner look. They will be offered as a complete replacement part. As soon as pictures are available, should be within a week, I will have them posted to get everyone's thoughts? We hope this will help everyone looking to improve the air supply to the motor. ------------------ |

I am sure that will look great Norb, but the potential for water into the air induction scares me silly. Just yesterday, where I went was dry, and coming back the road was flooded with people "draining" (whatever they were doing) the fire hydrants, 5 MPH and still I has water all over the sides. I was pissed enough without a worry of water into the air intake. ------------------ |

William, do your frame braces mount in a different location then the ones from Mac Motor Sport? ------------------ |

William, I applaud your efforts for your alternative to the Mac Suspension Braces. This is a perfect example where a basic design will function just as well as their aesthetically nicer ones but 3 times less expensive. I had similar braces custom made at a machine shop and it worked out perfectly. |

Todd B. How much gain in performance did you achieve with your Mac intake system? Your feedback will help me decide to buy or not to buy. Thanks! |

Don, noticeable gain... supposedly it is around 7 HP, but this is such a clean filter and it is plain good for a motor's life to breath well and not inhale junk that to me it is worth the $200 for each kat (until I can get the paxton anyhow ) ------------------ |
