Only late 1999 model year cars were recalled (all red). The frame problem did also affect the early 2000 cars, but were caught before they left the plant (mostly red, but some black also). That is why there are several 2000 model cars that went to auction as "repaired" cars. |

I think that was part of the recall-the upright stancions for the control arms weren't heat treated. ------------------ |
