I know everyone on this site loves to collect anything Prowler. I received a Prowler die cast replica for Christmas. It's a 1997, Purple with the utmost detail. This replica is perfect in every way, all the way down to the functional hood prop. You can buy them from the Danbury Mint for $112.00 plus shipping (scale 1/24, 7"long) 800-493-2934. It's part of their Hot Rods and Customs Collection

Yea, I was really wanting a yellow one. My wife told me if I took it apart to paint it she would strangle me! :-)

It might not be the Danbury mint or Franklin mint but I have Yellow Diecast in Anson, Eagle race, Racing Champion, Matchbox, Maisto and Road & Track. Plus my yellow JRL remote control.

Now I have Danbury mint & Franklin mint cars but when looking at the other diecast I have They all look good. I have them in display cases so they stay clean.

The doors open on all of them. $20 bucks for Anson or $120 for Danbury. They are toys on a shelf. Don't paint your purple $120 dollar car. Find a yellow $20 car and be Happy

I have about 175 diecast Prowlers, but I will not pay the premium for the Danbury mint name, ok unless they make a Yellow one, hehehehe.

After the last Franklin mint car I doubt I will ever buy another diecast over $100. It was delivered dirty and damaged. They took over 3 months to replace. `70 Hemi `Cuda Convertible

I have posted this previously but there are so many new members that I thought I might get lucky. Matchbox made 1997 prowlers for every major league team. I need the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and New York Mets to finish my set. Anybody hang around baseball card shops, toy stores or flea markets be on the lookout for me. Thanks.
