Which cover kit is the best for bumper removal. Which one blinks and lights up like the originals in the bumper? thanks Sassy |

Sasy, I do not have them but I would get Tom Mills kit if I ever did decide that I was going to remove the bumpers. I like his the best of what I have seen. ------------------ |

Sasy: I have the Tom Mills kit on my car and I am very satisfied with it. I have had it on the Kat for over two years now with no problems and the newer kits have what I consider a nicer lens than the older ones. ------------------ |

tom Mill's kit bolts on, is made of formed plastic, and has turn and parking lights. I prefer his kit. ------------------ |

Sassy, I think I have seen them all. I prefer Tom Mills kit over all the others. When I first seen his I had to have them. That was almost 3 years ago. After trying to get him to make them for sale, he made set for his car only, I have set # 3 he did. I guess if he had not made them I would still have my bumper on. He has went to great pains to make them fit, match and reasonably priced. $600 painted to match, unbolt bumpers, install the 2 bolts on filler panels & plug the lights in and you are done. ------------------ |

I need to guarantee them a 500pc pre-paid order, which at this time is on the back burners. That is a lot of money I would have to dish out up front with no guarantees. I am trying to negotiate with them a 100 pc with slightly high cost. I have one more option which I am presently working on. I really want these bad also. Sassy 100pc order would mean 50 sets which I feel I could sell with no problems at all. But 250 sets MMmmmmmmmm I don't know. This message has been edited by SasyMama on 05-26-2002 at 10:58 AM |

Linda, contact Ida as he said he found a manufacturer to do low number runs of custom lenses. He did this for his Tucker lenses. Canada I think. ------------------ |

SM - I'm thinking that you can get 100-150 orders with no problem, if these are reasonably priced. Key word: |
