Just got an email from one of our readers, stating he is buying one of those two sparkle orange Prowlers at Russwood in Lincoln, Ne. One still available.

I'll let him announce it when ready.
I will not steal his enjoyment of saying he bought another cat - lucky guy!

Congratulations.

OK guys it's me. I am buying another cat. I have a 99 Purple, but I just have to have another Prowler to drive everyday. I love the Orange. I called Jody J Sullivan, and she said she should have one by January.

The Prowler is the best purchase I have made in my entire life. I just love them. I am waiting for further word on when I will get it.

I live in California, San Francisco area. Any ideas on the best way to get my cat shipped to me from Lincoln, NE? Also anyone register an out of state car? How do I prove the Prowler has smog legal in CA. I know it is 50 states legal, but how do I prove it to the DMV when I register it in CA?

Best Shipping price I found was from this company here: 413-436-9511 They were around 1/3rd or more off everyone else. Also, Posie Grier has 3 Orange Prowler's at MSRP of $45000. I'm currently trying to buy one as I type this! He can be contacted at 770-598-5224.

Jim,

Congratulations on the new purchase!
Laura finally gets a Prowler to drive?

Seems to me that the most economical way to get your new car to California would be to buy me a one-way ticket from San Francisco to Lincoln Nebraska and tell me to be back in about a week.

Larry, I just exercised my printer after reading the above. That's about the best car hauling offer I've seen in some time and I wanted to save it. Now all I have to do is wait for a color that brings out some emotion and I think CJ is working on that.

And Larry, please note, the days of big premiums on these things are over. If the dealers aren't moving their prowlers at par, they are going to lose out to someone else.

The posts by POA folks pointing out the cars that are available at par are very nice, particularly when they add their personal reference on a good dealer experience, with a good salesperson.

This site is just great, and extremely useful, in so many ways, the above being just one. It's hard to believe PROWLER ON-LINE is less than 5 months old.

Purple, it will come with a smog compliance for whatever states when you buy it. If it does not have that, you have these choices. Make it comply with California DMV smog IE catalytic converter etc, drive it 7500 miles and THEN register it here, or, simply register it out of state. Personally, i'm registering this next Orange one in Oregon assuming the financing comes through. NO STATE TAX, my black on cost me $4500 plus for California sales tax, what a rip off!

Roger,
In my opinion, the best part is that ProwlerOnline just keeps getting better all of the time.
Better Deals,
Better Features,
Better Information,
Better Management,
and MUCH Better Events!
Just my opinion though. Been there and done that. Maybe I'm a little prejudiced.
It absolutely amazes me just how far we've come since Independance Day.

Purple - for $150 I flew to Lincoln and drove my cat back to Phx - one and a half days driving. Broke it in very easy first 1000 miles, and have driven it firm since.

Probably two to two and half days back to Northern Ca. from there. If you are getting MSO, you will have no problem registering it in Calif. Just like buying from Ca dealer, all get the same MSO.
I see the others are helping with the transporters info - good luck whichever way you choose. Its your car.
