Hey now, are the chrome wheels just the aluminum ones chromed???? |

Yes, the chrome wheels are the same as the original painted wheel. They are sent out and chromed. I had Discount Tire send my factory painted wheel to Wheel Concepts in Cal. to be chromed and they look great. I requested 100 point show chrome face and rear of the wheel. Yes, this does make a difference. If you have painted wheel and would like to have them chromed, check with Discount tire or your local custom wheel dealer to see if they will send them out for you. There was a guy in TX that had a chrome set for sale exchange but he wanted $1,400 for the set exchange. It cost me $1,255 for the 4 wheels and 2 plastic hub caps off the trailer. That was the complete cost to dismount, ship, chrome, remount & balance. Larry Mayes |

Thanks for the info Larry. Mine are chrome but I have seen some of the aluminum rims for sale and would like to get a set and get them modified a little and then chromed.... |
