for the orange and black tie sitting at my local baldwin ny dealer. When I asked about the gouge and 20k profit his reply was "hey, youre in business arent you" I told him I was retired, but this didnt seem to sway him-Also told that production on the orange was stopped last week! seems our cats may go up in value! ------------------ |

butchee - Bob says that to his knowledge the orange wasn't stopped last week.........? If Bob is right, then perhaps your dealer wanted you to think that was the only orange you could get and therefore you would have to pay the 60k????? This message has been edited by CJ on 11-18-2000 at 05:27 PM |

Some dealers are just slime! They will say anything to close the deal. I was told that the Prowler will no longer be made after 2000, when I was negotiating on the price. I left there, and they called me back 2 days later & dropped the price from 50k to 46K! They didn't have to ask me twice, I took it. |
