CJ, with all your posts and rummaging through your files, what about putting a book together with all copies of all the ads/brocheres/articles/press kits, etc that have been produced and selling it through the Prowler store. Obviously a massive project but you seem to be doing a lot of the work by posting for our enjoyment. (permission to reprint might be tricky) This would end up being the ultimate Prowler collectible. I would think people would pay handsomely for such a book - especially if you signed each copy |

There is a company called Brooklands Books that writes car books called "Gold Portfolios". They are a collection of all of the magazine articles written on that car. They do a lot of books on low production cars like the Pantera and Marcos. I'll bet they could be convinced to do one on the Prowler. ------------------ This message has been edited by Pantera on 04-08-2005 at 02:25 PM |

Interesting idea, but publishing a book would definitely be a huge undertaking and costly, I'm sure. That does give me an idea, though. Instead of a book, I might do color copies (or digital photos printed) of all the articles and at least put together a binder. It would be easier to look at everything than going through all the magazines. I do have the articles marked with color tabs, but it's still time consuming to go through all the magazines....there's close to a hundred, at least. Thanks for the idea! Hopefully, Pantera can generate some interest with the Brooklands Books people. |

As mentioned in previous posts. Aren't these magazine articles all copy-righted? Don't want to forget about copy-right laws. |

You're right about the copyright laws. That's another reason why I would not undertake such a project. An actual book company like the one Pantera mentioned might be able to accomplish getting reprint permission from all the magazines. If I put together a binder of color copies, it will be just for myself (not to make copies and sell).......and anyone else that might want to look at it. |

Lone Ranger..........Okay, when I hit the lottery, I'll do that! lol! Or I guess, if I made myself a binder and sent it to you to copy, then you could send it to someone else to copy, etc. etc. etc..........I wonder when I would get it back? Year 2010 maybe?? |

CJ, make two copies. Keep one original, send the other one around the world. It might meet up with the Armadillo at some point. |
