Do you make 100mph passes when low on Gas? Do you turn on your lights when you are out of gas on the side of the road? Do silver Cats get worse mileage than other Cats? These are questions that you should ask yourself, QUICKSILVER? BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA Quicksilver, the non-gas mileage king. OOPS |

When everyone stopped after the GC lunch and were at the McDonalds, some of us got gas , I took on 8.5 gallons of fuel and others were taking on 4 to 5 gallons of fuel. I was traveling over a 100 hitting 120 to catch the pack from Little America that left 45 minutes before me, I sleeped in. Someone said you didn't fill up all the way, well I did, cause I remember friday nite spilling gas on the ground.

Gar - to make you feel worse, I averaged 21.7mpg for the entire trip. We drove 80mph plus on way up to Flagg. And the way back to Phx, drove 90mph plus the last 100 miles (after Sondra fell asleep). If you got 10 mpg driving 100 plus, I'd figure that is real good. What did your sprint car get? |

Nyle I don't know I was to busy looking around for Mr. Smokey By the way I heard that the Gary C red Kat might have a hard time with speeds over 100mph

WOW! Just like a James Dean movie. Nyle, you got 19mpg? With your heavy shoe, that is tough to reason. The new gears dig in? ------------------ |

Larry, That was 19 mpg going down hill coasting alot Along with some drafting.. hehehe. |

Nyle - that drafting is important. Keeping the air off your nose can improve MPG 2 or 3 miles, but creating a loose condition at the rear. I hear you are installing a Superbird rear wing? If so, I'll arrange the Penske air tunnel for testing your flamed red cat. Its all in the downforce, Nyle, downforce! What about a carbon fiber belly tub panel on the underside for clean air flow. Maybe rear wheel fender skirts? |

All I know Larry is that Larry Lord told us we would have plenty of gas left for that last run. I didn't want to question his judgement since he was kinda like being my Wife for the day( mine was at home) you know how it is doing things for ya but complaning about it at the same time! hehe
