I put ceramic brake pads on today. Front wheels were loose and so were the brake calibers. So I decided to check rear wheels and calibers to find that they were also loose. Two wheel centers broke the tabs off taking them off and the other two broke putting them back on. I don't mean all the tabs but at least one tab broke on each wheel center either putting them on or taking them off they were plastic. Very bad design. Did anyone else have problems with their center tabs.

Greg,
I had the same problem and I got a new pair
under warranty from Chrysler. They are very
cheaply made and I agree. I've learn to remove them by using 2 wooden sticks and pulling straight towards you, not at an angle. Reinstall them by aligning the clips on the center caps with the slots on the wheel and push in with both hands. This worked for me.

Greg, had all four replaced under warranty a month or so ago, I am sure that chrysler knows that they are junk and they should come up with a cap that can hold up to being put back on the vehicle more than once. Search the archives and you will see that others have re-enforced their caps with some type of epoxy compound which I will probably do very soon! Good luck and just understand that they are cars and made by humans and that means that everything cannot be perfect!
