I have a problem with my CD. It seems that I have a loose connection to my CD changer. The left side of the system seems to go out often and I'm listening to one half of the stereo CD. Kind of sucks listening to ZZ or AC/DC on one channel. For those who have pulled the stereo system apart what am I looking at? I don't want to take the cat back to the dealer if I don't have to. I don't like anyone touching it if I can fix the problem myself. -jeff |

VT, If both channels (left and right) while playing the radio, and only one channel during CD play, Check to make sure both front and rear channels are out while playing CD and adjusting the fader balance. If both front /rear channels are out, it could be the connection between the CD player and the radio either at the CD, or at the radio, or the cable could be crimped under the passenger seat. |

Glenn, Thanks for the input. I always get both channels while playing the radio and sometimes when I play the CD. Both front and rear are out when the CD is acting up. I figure it is a bad connection between the CD and radio. It behavior always starts or stops after a jar or bump. DC has some terrible roads. I'll let everyone know what I had to do to fix the problem. The seat comes out this weekend Looking forward to digging into the problem. -jeff |
