Any ideas what it should cost to ship a car about 1600 miles? Any names/phone numbers of carriers? Thanks, |

HiHoBlk-Silver, Here are two people that I know: Congrats on your new #005 Black Tie. Yours must have been one car away from mine in the factory #005, and now they are back together in the same city!!!! ------------------ |

Trey, They are probably doing a double car haul at that price. You should also ask about time frame and is it a covered trailer. |

I've used Intercity Lines twice (nice enclosed trucks). The last time was Houston to Northern Virginia. The price was $1,150 and I believe that's less than $1/mile. There number is 800-221-3936 ------------------ |

I used Intercity Lines from Warren MA. The numbers are 800.221.3936 or 413.436.9422. They charged me $450 from Butte, MT to Redmond, WA (600 miles)in a covered trailer. They picked up the car on a Wednesday and I had it Saturday AM...It was covered and in perfect condition (The Prowler was the least expensive car in the trailer). |

Thanks all! I ended up using Elite 1.2 a mile for enclosed truck. Main reason is others told me it was a 2-3 week wait to get the transport then 5-7 days each way. Elite had a trip in Philly area and another in Austin area and can pick up both cars this Saturday. Whew, what a mess. And i thought buying a house was a big deal. I just keep chanting..."I HAVE A BLACK-TIE IN A WEEK..I HAVE A BLACK-TIE IN A WEEK..I HAVE A BLACK-TIE IN A WEEK..I HAVE A BLACK-TIE IN A WEEK..I HAVE A BLACK-TIE IN A WEEK.." Thanks again, Trey |
