WELL, today I recieved a letter from James Holden, President & CEO of DaimlerChrysler Corporation. It was to apologize for the oversite of not judging these cars. Of the cars there most were modified.

This was the 1st show at the Museum and they plan on working on next years show to improve it.

I had a long talk with Chuck Hitt today. He was the person in charge of the events for the weekend. Overall the events went very well.

They tried to please everyone and not leave anyone out. There was an oversite on their part but also overreaction on my part. I feel we do not get the respect we deserve at car shows and this is how I felt that day. No Respect.

Before the show they felt the new production cars would be just that. Stock production cars, so ahead of time decided not to judge.

I on the other hand sent photo of car and explained that it was not a CLASSIC but, would they want it at the show. The lady that said yes but didn't know the class would not be judged.

Out of all the Prowlers at Bo's, How many were STOCK?

This next year they will have some plan to address this.

There WILL BE ANOTHER FRIDAY NIGHT EVENT for 2001 Dream Cruise at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum PLUS a car show.

Let us all plan on attending and making it the best event possible.

Remember these are fund raisers also to help Children. What better reason to get together.
