Has anybody found a quality locking lug nuts for the Prowler wheels? I usually buy McGard locks, but they don't make one for the Prowler. I'd hate to see my tires and wheels missing, as was the case with my Dakota spare tire which was cable locked underneath. ------------------ |

Larry, Have you tried the McGard locks under your center cap? The lug nuts are standard acorn aluminum wheel lug nuts. I think they are 12.5mm not sure threads per mm, I hate this metric stuff. Old american cars 1/2 20, new cars metric CRAP If the locks clear the cap, you might loose the cap but not the wheel, Unless they have freon. A lock only keeps the honest people honest. A thief will get them NO MATTER WHAT ------------------ |

Larry and Nyle: I e-mailed McGard's website customer service dept. Their reply was that they don't make one to fit the Prowler. Superior Industries may make one, but their crap always turns to rust. Maybe it wouldn't under the cap, if it will fit? I garage the cat always, but the run to the Grand Canyon will have the cat outside at nite. Maybe I could leave a twenty under the wiper blade and a note to take them off the red Carlini special with CA plates!!!!!!! He won't read this post, so don't tell him. ------------------ |
