I know the subject about different grilles other than stock has being brought up numerous times. I would like to change my stock grille to a chrome or after market grille. Would some of the members please post a picture of your Prowler if you have changed your grille from stock..This would be helpful on helping me decide what to go with....also where you purchased the grille would be helpful also.....Thanks |

I have a stock chrome grill, but getting quality plastic grill chromed is difficult There are some billet grills out there that are very nice The one aluminum grill with thin close fins is a favorite for me and wouldn't mind having one if I didn't have my chrome grill. It is made by street rod grill builder but forget the name. He post here also ------------------

My current grill was made by M & L... I heard they made around 50 but not sure, a couple of people cloned them but never made very many. pretty sure no one makes this type anymore... This message has been edited by xtreme prowler on 02-06-2015 at 02:57 PM |

I like mine.
The vertical grilles sometimes show whats behind the grille. I think Alumicraft makes both kinds. This message has been edited by Gort on 02-07-2015 at 06:43 AM |

...I used the TGF grill on most of my Prowlers...I don't think they are produced today, probably have to look for used...they were around $600. new best I remember...I liked the simple "no chrome" look

I too have the TGF grill, but I just had to remove the stuck on emblem from the hood and let it into the TGF grill. I think the grill is just crying out for something to be put there. Just my opinion mind you. Tangled, I love your cars, oh and their home too. |
