held an annual event, where would you like to see it?

What time of year?

What activities?

My vote would be to rotate it yearly. Once on East Coast, then Gulf, then West Coast.

I'd like to see on in South Florida, Keys area around Spring.

Have racing clinics, artists there to do custom painting during the event, same with upolstry folk.

Maybe charter a SportFishing boat and do some blue water stuff.

I would vote for somewhere in the middle, like Denver.

WOW! What a stretch coming from someone who lives in Colo Springs. Ha!

I spent a lot of time there years ago when I worked with Digital Equipment Corp. Great country.

Loved hiking and climbing around Garden of the Gods. Why not have it around there versus Denver? I'd take C.S. over Denver anytime. Heck, if in Denver area, why not Winter Park?

Wine country would be another area I'd like to see one in.

Maybe Great Lakes although, I've only seen it from 40,000 feet several times.

HiHo, LOL

Well, it is pretty close to the middle of the country and I think it is Beautiful hear. Just ask CJ. I know she would come. And I actually like your idea better. The Springs would be a great place. But if you are going to do it next year. Make sure it is before July. I will probably be gone after that.

Gary loves Woodward? It is something!!!
Andrew: Colorado is always perfect...there are a lot of places besides Colo Spgs that would be great also.....How about Estes Park and Trail Ridge Road (highest continuous auto road in the world). Best friends live in Estes - they have 10 acres and lots of parking - a bus barn (carpeted, heated and lighted) that would hold 50-60 cars)- camping would be fun - hotels in town - Rocky Mountain National Park as the backyard - lots of hiking, sightseeing and cruising the mountains. (Where are you going Andrew?)
BULLinMARKET - Las Vegas is certainly glitzy - but you have to like gambling an awful lot! What else is there but gambling and shows?

Just my thoughts!

I will vote with CJ on this one. If you haven't gone up the Big Thompson Canyon in a fast car, you have missed something. Base our event at Colo. Springs (Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Manitou Spgs)- then travel up I-25 to Loveland-Ft. Collins area- then to Estes Park. WOW! I'm getting my bags out now! Lets go in July, as Andrew will be gone, and we can base camp at his place! LOL Larry Salzman, Az-POA

2002 Event: Falbrook, Ca. Gary C.'s place. We can be loud, roudy, and tare up the streets with speeding Prowlers. Day 2, on to L. Lord's for giant keggar - again, loud and roudy! Day 3, to George's house = Ditto! That was an easy plan for 2002! CA is great.

How about in Houston on I-59 north during rush hour in August (110 in the shade) w/ no A/C. We could have a contest to see who overheats first or who's roadrage starts first......

Wait am minute, we won't sell them on Houston that way.

Er, we have more strip clubs then anyone? NO!

I wouldn't have to trailer my Prowler anywhere? NO!

Hummm, I'm gonna think about this one.....

I am all over the Colorado thing, we have some extra room at our house.

Baby will be one year by then, so we could get sleep and party.

We could easily map out routes to cruise on a daily basis, different place each day. Just bring lots of film.

Seems like a weiner to me, but I think it would be a good question for a poll. Are you listening Mike.

Todd: A poll is a great idea! Lets have it the first week of October -- have 2001 location set by first week of November -- have dates set by January 30, for people to plan their vacations by. I believe CJ and I will arm-wrestle everybody (except Zipper), to get the event to Colorado---I didn't say that! Larry Salzman, Az-POA

Hey, Estes sounds great, my sister in Buena Vista only has room for 15-20 cars. Highway 70 is a must down around the Colorado River. BUT...California still has some great happenings, Jackson to Tahoe in September, Death Valley, March/April 2001. We Will travel.... Will the rest of You.........

I hear you Todd and all the other supportive Prowl-a-Holics!

How about doing the poll in two stages?

1st poll - What area of the country would you like to have the event: Eastern state, West, South, North, Central

2nd poll - We will then do a poll to narrow it down to an exact city, state.

Comments?

New Jersey? The only thing I liked aobut Jersey was leaving...[rim shot].

Just kidding, only place I've been there is Newark overnight at a Holiday Inn. They had razor wire on fence around the place and told us not to venture out after dark. We left the next a.m. for Europe. Probably not a good representation of Jersey.

That's too bad. Spent alot of time there as a kid (still am). Did trout fishing on the Anamos (sp) river and learned to sail on Lake Valaceto.
