Enzo,,,

Wet road condition,,,driver error?

Appears with the front left wheel assembly ripped off, and the deployment of air-bags.....this will reach 'total/salvage' status by the insurance company. If so, some good parts available to others.

Good to hear of no injuries,,,other than hurt feelings...
.
.

Thanks for posting additional pictures! Obviously a 'total'..

quote from Bob

The Prowler is gone? Was on my way to work, guess the car hydroplaned, lost control, hit a curb that was part of a traffic island, bounced into a car on my right, wound up across the street in the opposite direction. I'm basically okay, so was the other drive, suffered an airbag hit.

That is just damn heartbreaking and painful to look at... Happy to know the driver is OK though, a car can always be replaced.

Bob, I’m glad that you weren’t hurt any worse than you were but I’m sure you’re broken hearted about your Prowler. I don’t know if he still has it but Ken Romain had his for sale and it’s really nice. Jer

Bob,
I am glad you were not seriously injured but at the same time sad to hear about your car.
Even though you haven't posted here in a while, I sent you a PM anyway in hopes that you might see it.

Terrible to hear situations like this. I see in the pics that the tires are Goodyear - are those run flats?

Glad Bob’s ok, sucks to lose another Kat. But I see it still has run flats. Hopefully those aren’t 17 year old tires? I see this a lot on Prowlers. Old rubber is no good for traction. Hope this wasn’t the case.

I don't think the fronts or the backs are run flats. He said he losT control, maybe hydroplaning.
