I stopped and looked at this car today. The paint is good and it has a nice hard top but personally I think the car is $10,000 overpriced. Original tires and crappy barrels on all four wheels. Price $37,995. http://www.michigancitychryslerdodgejeep.com/used/Plymouth/2001-Plymouth-Prowler-Michigan-City-d2e8d5720a0a006418dc33f94ef62bfd.htm |

Discussing a car that's for sale, is NOT a classified ad. Dale, you are in the right section. I agree the car is overpriced. But dealer cars often are. On the other hand, dealers aren't emotionally attached to their cars and will often negotiate way lower if it's not selling fast. Are you in the market for another prowler? |

Sorry catfish, I am not selling this car just was curious if it was way overpriced by the dealer. No Roger, I am not looking for another Prowler, I am out of garage space to the point I can't hardly work on anything. My wife says no to another addition. I have 8 under roof now. |

I dooooo like, the red painted trans cooler! 1) Has anyone ever done that before?? If so, I probably never noticed. 2)Would the paint not restrict air-flow/cooling somewhat!! Andy |

I had mine painted Silver before I put a chrome cover on. I've never had any problems. The black painted around the bottom looks good on the Silver also. |

I like the Red paint on the trans. I might just do same. want to go with a Black and Red accent. Thank for the idea. $38,000 with a hard top maybe $5,000 overpriced. |

quote: Don't let the hardtop blind you on the price of this car. This is my opinion, if a car still has the original tires on it and the wheels are not perfect for this price what would it cost to replace them and subtract that from your $5,000 figure you would be closer to what the car is worth. |

Actually anyone in the area looking for a Hardtop might consider asking if it might be available separate from the car. That is how I acquired the Hardtop for my Kat recently, I asked the seller if they would consider selling it separate from the car. After a couple weeks, the seller called me and we came to terms. I ended up with an already painted Gen 2 TGF Hardtop for less than a new one and didn't need to worry about shipping costs and worry about damage. |
