Dale, you are in the right section. I agree the car is overpriced. But dealer cars often are. On the other hand, dealers aren't emotionally attached to their cars and will often negotiate way lower if it's not selling fast.

Don't let the hardtop blind you on the price of this car. This is my opinion, if a car still has the original tires on it and the wheels are not perfect for this price what would it cost to replace them and subtract that from your $5,000 figure you would be closer to what the car is worth.
The silver top looked in good condition. There were a lot of smaller mods done to the car I didn't like for example the gas door had carbon fiber on it and so did the bottom of the rocker panels the full length of the car.

That is how I acquired the Hardtop for my Kat recently, I asked the seller if they would consider selling it separate from the car. After a couple weeks, the seller called me and we came to terms.
