Is any one going to Ameila Island Concours d'Elegance this weekend? Ameila Island is a top notch show, just behind Pebble Beach and above Meadowbrook.

Check out the slide show from last year:

We are going. It is only about 30 minutes from here. Awesome event, and we got FREE tickets! Can't beat that price...

My old boss from the railroad moved to Jacksonville, and has been working with the event as "Historian". He has been with them for about 12 years now. He called me and asked if I'd like to go. Heck ya I wanted to go!

It was an amazing experience. Beautiful machines that I never even knew existed. Unbelievable. Saw an Bugatti Veron there. 1.4 million dollars. Sunglasses for $2,000.

But you know what? With all that stuff there, my Cat had people yelling & waving as I drove by. Still like mine best. Good thing, cause I don't have $2,000 for new sunglasses...

Sounds like you guys had a blast. Ed in reality there is prowlers and
Then there is your car which is a work of art. I'm not sure
How many people have really seen or had an opportunity to feel and experience a prowler pro 5.0 but wanted to thank you for an amazing time.

A 5.0 v6 is amazing and when someone sees your car it's somthing to remember. Over 100k miles and a great guy you are.

Hope you don't mind but I found some Picts from my visit to Jacksonville
All I can say is wow. What power and fun. One day I hope to join the 5.0 club. This had to be one of the best and fun prowler rides ever.

Hey Trey! Thanks for the nice comments. Yup! Turning 128,000 this weekend. Enjoyed every single mile.

See you moved from warm, sunny Florida! Hope you are doing well there. Enjoyed your visit that day.

Ed

PS - How is your Cat handling the cold?

Ed,

I like how your 5.0L stroked Prowler looks; nice a clean. No offense to other 5.0L stroked cats, but I don't like the look of a tower sticking out of the hood. Your set up with the intake thru the hood is clean and cool. Next year we will have to sync up at Amelia Island so I can see your Prowler.

Morning Brian - I felt exactly the same way. I wanted the 'hole in the hood' look, but I was not in love with the stacks sticking out. Then Dean came up with the Hillborn retro-scoop, and I was hooked. It was perfect. I called Dean at Prowler Pro and the rest is history. It will be four years in July that I have had the conversion. About 45,000 miles on the 5.0 engine. It screams. I'm leaving right now for a trip down A1A. Life is good...

Oh, and by the way. Have you seen Trey's car? It is clean and mean. Beautifully kept.
