Sounds like a "thank you for participation" gift. The auto companies use those 'diecast plus plaque' as token gifts quite a bit. If I were a betting person, I'd say it was probably a regional sales meeting or process improvement meeting for that area (Atlantic or SouthEast region).... may have been just internal Chrysler employeees, or it also could have included dealers as well. Just wondering, is it a Maisto diecast? This message has been edited by pjr300 on 09-09-2007 at 09:39 AM |

I was thinking along the lines of a Torrington Bearing (Timken) dealer, order conference only because the back of the Prowler has Torrington In script across the back of the deck lid. Can't tell who made the car with removing it, it has felt on the bottom side of it & I don't want to mess with that. It was made by Barker Speciality Co, in Cheshire Conn. I hope to have the rest of the pics up by tomorrow. toys |

From the description the diecast is 1/18 scale. From the limited picture posted I can tell it is the concept version of the Prowler. These Diecasts were made by ERTL. Great find. Only goes to prove that one persons trash is anothers gold. |

Idive I know who Don is but I have misplaced his phone #, I'll call him when I find it and let him know he has a PM & you want to talk to him. He doesn't have a Prowler so he may not be on the POA much, But he's the Guy that has the 30's Plymouth Hot rod that he incorporated a lot of prowler parts into, He also has a prowler trailer to pull behind it. toys This message has been edited by toys on 09-11-2007 at 09:08 AM |
