Stephen, I have a question for you regarding the struts you sell for the weekender. One of our local owners was telling me that he bought a set of struts for his weekender from you awhile ago. When he went to put them on, he discovered that the mounting bracket would not work. After contacting you, he said you had redesigned the brackets as you discovered after starting to sell them they didn't fit right. He was going to talk to you about them at Woodward. He said you offered to replace them with the correct redesigned brackets, but wanted more money for them. I told him I believe there must be some misunderstanding. I thought you would have replaced them cost free as the design would never work the way it was sent originally. Can you please clear up this issue for him along with any other owners that may have this issue. What is the correct procedure for replacing these brackets and struts? Thanks in advance. |

Stephen, No concerns on my part relly. Just trying to help out an owner that does not have internet access and was going to see you at Woodward. After having dealt with you on struts before, I told him he must be confused on charging more for another design. Didn't seem to be your style. Figured if you changed designs as the original would not work, you would swap them out with the correct part no charge. But, will e-mail you the number. |

POA Members. In reference to the posting by Jim S above I have replied with the information that should clarify this new design weekender opening kit. We installed 10 of these kits at the Tulsa event. Go to the bottom of the page on this link, www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/001019.html and view the Install posting letter by Blue Tie and the New Weekender Kit posted by Geno. Yes there is a totally new Kit. The original kit consisted of one support and two brackets to go in place of the slider. The new Kit is totally redesigned to function correctly. It has four Brackets and 2 Lift Supports as the photos show. Yes, the cost is $100.00 compared to the original $50.00. I will supply the new retrofit kit to anyone who has purchased the original at a cost of $50.00. We can be contacted by PM, e-mail on lstech@shaw.ca or 306-683-5000. We thank all of you at the POA for the continuos support of our products. |
