I am waiting to receive an air patrol from Real Rod that I ordered in approx. Oct. of 2006. Has anyone received their orders lately? Has anyone been able to contact him? His voice mailbox if full. I know he has been ill, but it has been almost six months since I ordered an air patrol. Has he gone out of business? Any information would be appreciated. Corey - I've had a hard time reaching him also but did talk with him last week. He is suppose to be getting me a fax number for someone else. The next time I speak with Bob, I'll mention this thread so he can reply. |

I was charged in the begining of this. He was going to charge me shipping in the end. So, I am in for its full price so far. I would really like to get the air patrol. I have heard good things about them. I have spoken with Bob in the past, and he seems like an honest person. Its just getting a bit long now in the process. I hope to get the product soon. I OFFERED TO PAY IN ADVANCE. BOB DID NOT WANT THE MONEY UP FRONT. IM SURE HE WILL COME THROUGH IT JUST GETS A LITTLE FRUSTRATING WITH THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION. ALL GOOD THINGS COME IN TIME. |

Paid in full! I am nervous about this but everyone here really likes the products he makes, (which is why I ordered one)but the wait is taking much longer than it should. I was understanding that getting mine by christmas was going to be cutting it close, but I thought he meant christmas 2006. |

I too ordered an Air Patrol AND a Weekender from Bob. My card was charged back in September, but still nothing in the mail and my last PM is with no reply! Between my luck with Bob and Scott, I'm about ready to give up buying anything else for my beloved Prowler! So far, I'm about $9K in the hole!!!    |

It is incumbent of any honest business to keep customers and potential customers apprised of the status of their business. I am confident that if POA members know that a person running a business is ill and that they are informed of their order status that they will understand a delay or they should be able to be refunded the money that that they have made for an order. When customers e-mail and telephone calls go unanswered for months the reputation of the business certainly is called into question. When telephone calls and e-mail go unanswered and they hear that a business may be up for sale after they have placed an order then this is totally unacceptable and not only hurts that business but also puts into question the realiability other businesses on the POA. If Real Rod or other business operators are physically unable to post the status of their operation then get someone on the POA to do it for them. Real Rod may have had a good reputation and it is a shame to see that that reputation has been quite tarnished due to lack to communications with customers. |

I just left the doctors office and and things are better than I thought I few weeks ago, if things continue to improve I will have surgery in about 3 weeks. On to Real Rod orders I have been getting some help from a few of my buddys and have all ready started shipping some items. To ALL of you with orders I will in the next 48 hours contact you by phone. My internet access at work is blocked thus I am having it installed at home so I can be on line more often along with a land line there. Anyone that has been to my place know the cel phone service is bad. Sorry to everyone I have upset with my lack of attention to getting your parts out and when I speak to you if you want a refund rather than parts it is totally understandable. I have many PM and will be on the net tomorrow morning and will try to reply to all of them also. |
