Just wanted to say Hi to you all and introduce myself. My name is James and I live in St. Louis, MO. I have been reading these boards for a couple of weeks and I am only a couple of days away from getting the Prowler I have wanted for years. I turned down the test drive, I don't want to drive it until it's mine. Just wanted to share my happiness with you all and I hope me and my wife Jan will be able to join in on some of the fun here in the near future. These past few weeks have been crazy. With power going out for a day from the storm that blew thru and my parents losing power for several days and helping them out to a flat tire to Ebay raising their fees (I have an Ebay business)to both AC units in my house going out and now today a water main break in my front yard and we're going to be without water for at least a day but for some reason I can't get the smile off my face |

James - that is the 1997 cat that fell off a transporter,,,,and was put back together!!! Didn't they tell you?? V OK,,,I'm joking! WELCOME to the POA! Hope ya get the water main fixed,,,,,,,,you might stink up the Prowler without a shower, lol. Glad to have you aboard! ------------------ Call 911 - there is a Prowler in my garage....

By the way James, that was my car, it is 99.9% origional and everything works perfect. if you have any questions I will be glad to ansewer them. I always ran Valvoline synthetic oil, the oil in it now only has 1000 miles on it and they are going to change it tomarrow with standard oil, (it will work fine too) but I always had to have everything a notch better than stock. you will also love the sound as the exhaust is also better than stock. I put about 1000 miles a year on that car only going out to car cruises or just cruising on the weekends. It has also won several first place trophies. I also have a paper trail showing all repairs done to the car since new. It came from Glendale Chrysler on Manchester rd. new. |

Welcome to the POA and congrats. Make sure you meet up with Richstr, Mel and Jane, Rick Buehler & Linda, etc. in the St. Louie area. They are truly great folks. They make it to a lot of events and are very knowledgable and helpful. ------------------ |

Jim: Be ready for all those face muscle cramps cause you will be smilin every time you get in it. Oh, and even more each time you drive it. Big cruise in at Tulsa next June 14-21, check out the posts and book yourselves NOW. look forward to seeing you there, and yes A/C is planning on attending but will be housed in the stockade for safe keeping. dude, I know EXACTLY how you feel with that excitement, and let me just warn you. It gets EVEN BETTER when it's at your house. I never drove one before I drove mine either and have ZERO regrets about any of it. Just one of the coolest cars ever made, and to think that Plymouth did it in 1997 when everyone is just profit oriented is incredible. DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT .... and ENJOY |

Once you get it, you will have to join some of us other St. Louis Prowler owners for an outing. Several often show up for the monthly Fenton car show, and there is talk of a one day fall cruise. |

Welcome!!! I have an '01 Orange and love it along with the great Prowlers friends I've made since my purchase. There is a group of us here in St. Louis that get together. There were 4 St. Louis Prowlers that sttended the Louisville event and we already have reservations for Tulsa in '07. Whoo look at all the reply, thanks for the warm welcome. The money was supposed to come thru today but didn't so now I must wait til Monday evening, I'm going crazy. We have never done any car get together thangs before so that will be cool. My wife's heart stopped with the falling of the truck comment, good stuff. Thanks bbcar for the info adacus, as far as thick skin goes, I was raised with it rraite, purple being my favorite color there was no choice and being I wanted a 97 I also belive there was no choice Thanks all be back on Monday hopefully, finally a new owner |
