How many ohms are the door speakers?

I can't answer that but I can tell you I went to Dr. Dashboard to have mine replaced and was told because of the ohms I had to go to the dealer. Which I did.

Also ask him about using clay on your car.

Eric, I checked the service manual and trouble shooting manual and they don't say. Check the Sound System manual that is with the Owners Manual.

I have my old door speakers laying here - the coils are fine but the cone fell apart - they are not labeled, so I stuck my ohm meter on one of them and got 2.5 ohms, the reading repeated on the second one. hope that helps.

The OEM speakers are 2 Ohm...sorry for the delay in posting as we are enroute to Louisville. Coincidentally, Jay "YELLER CAT" replaced all the speakers today for another cat owner.

Thanks, that is what I thought, when I replaced the door speakers with 4 ohm speakers the dash tweeters were much louder.
