Hi, I know this isn't for events but most people look here so I wanted to put a note in to look in the Events Discussion area. I wanted to find out what interest there would be for a day/overnight trip on Saturday May 13th starting in Manteca, California going to Yosemite National Park to view the water falls and enjoy the park. Those from Southern California could meet somewhere like Santa Clarita or Castaic and then meet up with the Northern California Prowler's in Yosemite Valley. There is more information in the Events Discussion area. This message has been edited by Karesel on 07-17-2006 at 07:58 PM |

I was a couple days before in Yosemite,... lots of snow, I dont know if this will be meltet in 3 weeks. (salt on the street) Anyway, have fun , yosemite is for me one of the nicest parks. I wish I can cruise with a prowler in the summer over tioga pass to mammouth and then over death valley to las vegas. .... maybe one day... Keresel, Great pics of Horsetail Falls, and Half Dome. Yosemite is so awesome , its even better when i flew my Hang Glider through the valley from Glacier Point Take off (at 10,000' asl / 3500' cliff launch) and landed in the last meadow to the left of half dome 5.2 miles away from the takeoff, its my most memorable and intimidating launch that i have flown in my 26 yrs to date(and still fly/n) . The launch was so intimidating, it was like Wiley Coyote at the cliff in an Acme Cartoon clip. Thanks for sharing!!! |

Awesome views, can't beat out west vacations and cruising. Will tell the Ranger I know you so I can park on the cross lines too. |
