How many timnes have you had the side panels off your car? How about the hood. It is amazing how much easier it is to work in the engine bay with these parts removed.

My side panels have off so many times the holes are getting worn out from removing and reinstalling the bolts.

The hood has been removed at least a half dozen times.

Only about 4 times for the side panels. The hood not yet. I hate to take that off cuz she fits soooo nice.

One thing to keep and eye on when taking off the side panels though. When I removed my drivers side panel for the first time last year...the bottom retaining clip closest to the front of the Prowler virtually crumbled in my hand due to rust!!!
I mean I know my cat is almost 10 years old but I was surprised that clip rusted like it did. I ended up replacing all 4 clips.

You are right though Marty...it's so much easier to work on the Prowler with them off. I find I can never reinstall them without doing some major cleaning.

I have had the side panels off about a dozen times. Sometimes to work on it other times just for a thorough detail job. The hood has been off once when the car was repainted.

But at least we know how to put the cat back together Gary!

At least I think I did it right. Strangest thing though...I still have a half a box of parts left over and can't figure out where they go.

There are ALWAYS parts left over - why is that?

Less parts = lighter car = FASTER!

I'm pretty anal about bolts and such. Bagged and labeled as it comes apart. 6 months later I know where they go.

Had the passenger side panel off to ease access to the air filter. Lots of little 'shims' fell out from the top bolts. Took me awhile to align everyting back up. Mine is a 99. Took the grill out to install Obi-wan's negative battery cable. The grill takes about 2 minutes to remove.

My cats original owner is from AZ. Go figure!

I am equipping my garage this Summer with a dehumidifier. I just wish I could find one that's intrinsic.

Side panels so many times I can't count. Each time I completely detail everything in sught including waxing, anal, you bet. But with the hood once I installed Stephens LS Technologies hood struts I have so much room, wouldn't even think of hood removal.

HEY KATS, THE PANELS ARE EASY---IF YOU LIKE TO CLEAN YOUR KAT THEY NEED TO BE OFF. THE HOOD I WON'T PULL---IT SITS SO PERFECT & STRAIGHT NOW I WOULD HATE TO DING OR BEND THAT ALUM BONNET.
