I think black rims look great, and would look awesome on a silver kat!

When I first saw Marc's car I did not care for the black wheels. But it has grown on me. It makes Marc Cat look Darth Vadar-ish. I still prefer the chrome wheels for our Prowler.

At Woodward 2004 had the pleasure of riding next to/slightly behind Marc when zoomin' across town for dinner.... GREAT wheels, I really liked the reflections of/off them (especially at speeds over 80! LOL) .... danced well with the purple. JMO.

I am currently having a set of 1999 wheels painted satin black with a 1/4 polished lip for my orange prowler.
