I use a battery tender get them off E-bay for about $9.00 plus shipping.Another $9.00 so for $18.00 you can get one that starts and turn off by it's self.

Leave the battery in the car with the 'tender' hooked up to it. If you want, you can plug the tender into a timer to come on once a day for about 2-3 hours. This will keep your battery 'topped off-full charge' and save some on your electric bill! I did this all last year and it worked just fine!
