When you hook up the battery tender for the winter do you unhook the battery from the car? |

I use a battery tender get them off E-bay for about $9.00 plus shipping.Another $9.00 so for $18.00 you can get one that starts and turn off by it's self. ------------------ |

I use battery tenders in all my older cars and I do not disconnect any of them. |

Leave the battery in the car with the 'tender' hooked up to it. If you want, you can plug the tender into a timer to come on once a day for about 2-3 hours. This will keep your battery 'topped off-full charge' and save some on your electric bill! I did this all last year and it worked just fine! |
