inch-and-a-half, but recognize getting in and out is the same (since it matches the existing window opening) -GRROWL |

No cross bar to hit your head on while driving on bumpy roads. Try it, you'll like it. Quieter, too. Only drawback is the inability to get to the spacious trunk with the hardtop in place. Sandy hates carrying the hardtop to the motel rooms, also. Sometimes I help if I am not too tired from driving. |

Yes, there's maybe a couple extra inches. It has a light gray headliner in it, which makes it seem more spacious. It does cut down on some of the road noise, also. Most of all, it gives the cat an entirely different look... like a chopped top...... |

Growl, You are correct, the hardtop gives you an added 1 1/2" of headroom over the ragtop. It also suppresses about 80% of the wind noise vs the ragtop. The exterior dimensions of the hardtop really are no different than the roagtop but with the cleaner lines, (no bow lines). The hardtop weighs approx 38 pounds. Happy Holidays to all! ------------------ |

38 pounds? Sandy should have no problem carrying that, even if Ed does try to help! |

Dave, it is not heavy, it is just bulky and Sandy has short arms. I try to give her moral support and hum, "SHORT PEOPLE" by Randy Newman while she works. lol Her favorite song is HAIR, by the Cowsills. |

Everybody is on Sandy's side for the same reason that everybody is on Brenda's side when I say anything.....I just can't understand the reasoning? |

Dave, how quickly they all forget. You are saying everyone is on Brenda's side but yet they all took your side and talked her into a trailer. I see no similarities between everyone taking Brenda's side over you and people sticking up for Sandy over me. Brenda is the nice, interesting one. lol Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas. |

Gee Ed, I was trying to be just like you and now you tell me you don't see the similarity? Other than being shorter, younger and still have my hair (even if it is gray!) I don't see a lot of diferences.... |
